Tater is a happy go lucky boy that was brought into the vet hospital after his previous owners noted that Tater was having a lot of trouble walking. He was brought to the vet but they did not want to pursue any testing and chose to surrender him to our rescue. Tater had urine scolding all over his belly and feet from being kept in poor conditions and a fever. It was quickly discovered that he has Lyme disease and this is what is contributing to him being so sore and lame. He was started on meds and expected to make a full recovery.

Tater has been adjusting in foster care and doing well. He appears potty trained and is adjusting to liking his crate. He is dog friendly and previously lived with older children. He will be microchipped, neutered, updates on all core vaccines, and started on flea and tick and heartworm prevention prior to adoption.
