Suzanne is a one-year-old beagle who’s been through more than her fair share of waiting. She came into a crowded South Carolina shelter as an owner surrender alongside her housemate and was overlooked time and time again. But we saw something special in her gentle soul—and now she’s up north, getting the second chance she so deserves.
And let us tell you—she’s thriving.
Suzanne is currently being fostered with other dogs and a toddler, and she’s been nothing short of amazing. She’s kind, calm, and incredibly patient with the 14-month-old in her foster home, making her a dream candidate for a family with kids. In fact, Suzanne adores children and seems to light up whenever they’re around.
She’s doing wonderfully with her potty training and is already crate trained. She’d love a home with a fenced-in yard where she can enjoy the sunshine and fresh air—she’s a big fan of the outdoors. That said, Suzanne is just as happy lounging on the couch as she is exploring the backyard or going on an adventure. She’s the kind of dog who reads the room and is simply happy to be by your side, no matter what the day brings.
Suzanne is a sweetheart in every sense of the word. She’s gentle, adaptable, and ready to bring joy, snuggles, and tail wags to a forever family that will love her as much as she’ll love them.
If you’re looking for a loyal companion who’s great with kids, gets along with other dogs, and will fit into your life with ease—Suzanne just might be your girl.
She’s waited long enough. Let’s get her home.
Suzanne is spayed, microchipped, updated on core vaccines, dewormed, fecal tested, heartworm negative, and started on flea and tick and heartworm prevention.
