Welcome S’mores! He was found as a stray, and when no one came looking for him, he came with us. S’mores is fostered with other dogs and plays well. S'mores likes all kids but we are recommending older children as he still is working through some puppy behaviors like jumping and mouthing. He has also shown signs of having food aggression with other dogs in the home. Because of this we are recommending a home with an experienced dog owner that can continue his training. S'mores would do best as an only dog but can live with other dogs as long as high value items are kept away and all dogs fed separately. It was clear S'mores did not know where his next meal was coming from so its understandable he is a little food obsessive right now. We think with his training and regular meals, he will learn he does not need to guard food with other pups.
S’mores will be neutered, microchipped, updated on all core vaccines, dewormed, heartworm tested and started on flea and tick and heartworm prevention.
