Welcome Scooter! Scooter came into the rescue after one of our concerned volunteers saw him on Facebook being given away and stepped in. Scooter is now safe and with us. He is six months old and a bulldog/pitbull mix. Scooter came to us pretty much bald but has come a long way in our care with his skin issues. He is on a prescription diet for his skin and has improved tremendously! He also gets allergy shots every 6 weeks. We think he is likely allergic to chicken. He is fostered with other dogs and does incredibly well. He is potty trained and crate trained. Scooter is an incredibly social dog but we do notice that when he is around little children he can get a little nervous and just wants his space. He’s never aggressive, but because of this we are recommending kids that are older and respect his space. We think children ten and up would be an appropriate fit for Scooter.
Scooter is microchipped, neutered, dewormed, fecal tested, updated on all core vaccines, started on flea and tick and heartworm prevention and his skin issues are 100% under control!
