Welcome little Rollie! Rollie was taken to a pet store by his previous owners as they realized something was wrong with him and refused to seek any kind of medical care. The pet store brought him to the veterinary hospital and asked if we could help. We were more than willing to take on little Rollie and get him the care he deserves. It is clear that he has some kind of neurologic issue, but is overall totally happy! He is eating great and just seems a little dizzy. Rollie received an MRI where his scan was completely normal. The neurologist ran further tests to looks for a bacterial infection causing the dizziness and turns out Rollie was positive for Toxoplasma. The cure is a 6 week course of antibiotics which he has already finished. Rollie has made leaps and bounds to where he was and instead of falling over and walking in circles he can now run and play pretty much like a normal pup. There are some times where he still has slight moments of off balance and that’s from some minor damage cause by the toxoplasma but these ticks will become less and less as he ages.  Rollie has been amazing with other dogs and would love an active playmate to wrestle with. He is good with children but we recommend older kids as when he gets over stimulated he does get very mouthy. He is working on his potty training and crate training in foster care.

Rollie will be neutered prior to adoption, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, dewormed and started on flea and tick and heartworm prevention.
