Precious is a one-year-old mixed-breed girl weighing about 30 pounds, and her name truly says it all. She originally came into the shelter as a stray in heartbreaking condition—severely emaciated and weighing only 14 pounds, nothing but skin and bones. Thanks to proper care and good nutrition, she has made an incredible recovery and is now a healthy, happy girl ready to find the loving home she always deserved.
Precious is incredibly mild-mannered and a total love bug. She does well with other dogs, is cat friendly, and is great with children. Because she can be a little shy at first, we recommend kids over the age of 10—toddlers are cute, but they’re not exactly known for their boundary-respecting skills. With a calm, patient home, Precious will blossom into the most loyal and affectionate companion.
