Poppy is an 11-week-old Hound mix who was found as a stray in South Carolina and given the opportunity to travel north for a chance at a new life. Now safe in foster care, she is ready to find a family of her own.
This sweet, happy-go-lucky puppy has a wonderful temperament. Poppy enjoys the company of other dogs and is friendly with everyone she meets. She has that classic puppy curiosity and playful spirit, balanced with a loving and affectionate nature. Whether she is exploring the yard, playing with canine friends, or soaking up attention from her people, Poppy approaches life with enthusiasm.
While in foster care, she will be working hard on potty training, crate training, and overall puppy manners. As with any young puppy, she will need continued consistency, structure, and positive reinforcement in her adoptive home to help her grow into a confident, well-mannered adult dog.
