We are so surprised that our man Odie has not found a forever home yet! All about Odie:
Background: Odie was brought to ACCT as an emaciated stray and so malnourished he was put on the euthanasia list. Luckily we were able to rescue him just in the Nick of time and now is a healthy and happy boy!
people friendly: Odie loves his people. He loves any attention he gets from his family and strangers alike. He loves having visitors, making friends, and getting treats from the mailman! He is not fostered with children but has done very well meeting older kids!
dog friendly: Odie loooooves to play with other dogs and lives peacefully with the resident dog in his foster home! He would love another doggie sibling but would also be happy with a human only family.
cat friendly: after slow introductions, Odie is free roaming with the resident cat in the foster home and she hasn’t needed to put him in his place even once!
house broken: Odie is non destructive in the home. He knows to potty outside and to chew on his own toys. He might swipe a snack off the coffee table when you’re not looking but who can blame him! He is crate trained but does not need to be in a crate and has earned free roaming status with the resident dog and cat when the fosters are out during the day.
Disposition: Odie is our big puppy: he wakes up happy and bouncy every morning ready to say hello to you with lots of kisses and love. He is down to go on a walk or run with you but also happy to snug on the couch all day. He loves to play with his toys and can entertain himself for hours playing by himself! He is nonreactive and has done well in the busy city environment. He is soooo good in the car and walks well with a front clip harness. Odie wants to please his people (and he loooooves treats) which keeps him very handler focused and trainable!
Let’s find this boy a home!
Odie is neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, updated on all core vaccines, on flea and tick and heartworm prevention, and negative for intestinal parasites.
