Welcome Molly! She and her sister were brought into the shelter after their previous owner couldn’t sell them on Craigslist as Christmas presents. (I wish I was kidding) Anyways, both girls are getting a taste of the good life in foster care. Since having Molly in our care we have learned she is very timid and lacking confidence. Molly does seek companionship and confidence in other dogs. Because of this we are recommending a home with another male dog in the home to show Molly the world isn't that much of a scary place. Molly is nervous with fast movements and loud noises. Because of this we are looking for an adult only home for Molly or a home with older kids and a calmer environment. Molly is fostered with a 6 year old child and does well. Molly will be working on their crate training and potty training while in foster care. Molly was fostered with cats and does seem to want to chase them, so a home without kitties out be best for her or really dog savvy kitties.
Molly will be spayed, microchipped, dewormed, updated on all age appropriate vaccines and started on flea and tick and heartworm prevention prior to adoption.
