I'm ready for my new family!

Milton

I'm Available

Welcome our boy Milton (formally Chester at ACCT). It’s clear that life hasn’t been kind to Milton. His scars and wounds tell a story that we will never know the truth behind but what we do know is that he has a heart of gold. Milton has been nothing but sweet to all the volunteers at the shelter just wanting love and affection, something I’m sure he’s probably never received before. Milton is incredibly skinny and emaciated. It’s clear he was deprived food. He was also found with staples in his ears (humans can be so cruel). We will be working hard to slowly get some healthy weight on him and get him feeling his best.

He has met other dogs at the shelter and done incredibly well. He’s not really into playing but just existing and at the age of seven years old, I’m sure he’d enjoy a chill doggo roommate or to be your one and only with a warm bed and couch to call his own.

Milton has not been tested with children yet. Either way, if he is in a home with children, we would recommend older kids 13 and up as being a little older, he has some achy joints and we don’t want any toddlers accidentally falling on him or him being in a loud home. He’s a chill guy that definitely wants a chill lifestyle. He has not been tested with cats, but if the right adopter comes along, we can absolutely test him.

Milton will be neutered, microchipped, updated on all core vaccines, fecal and Heartworm tested, and started on flea/tick/Heartworm prevention prior to adoption.
