Meet Mayo! 🤍
Mayo is a 4-month-old Spaniel/pit bull mix with a heart as sweet as her name! This adorable little girl was the last puppy left from her litter waiting for a family. Rather than let her continue to grow up in the shelter, we knew she deserved a fresh start, so she made the journey north in search of the loving forever home she’s been waiting for.
Like any typical puppy, Mayo is playful, curious, and full of love. She’s learning all about the world around her and is currently working on potty training, crate training, and basic manners while in foster care. With consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement, she’s sure to blossom into an amazing companion.
Mayo does well with other dogs, loves people, and should do fine with respectful children. She is also expected to do well with cats as long as introductions are slow and appropriate.
Future adopters should be prepared for all the joys and challenges that come with raising a puppy. Mayo will need continued training, exercise, socialization, and plenty of love as she grows into the wonderful dog she’s meant to be.
