We want to welcome our newest dog Marv aka Marvin. Marv was found as a stray with a laceration on his back, covered in fleas and completely emaciated. He was fixed up at a local emergency hospital and once we met him fell completely in love with his personality. We decided to bring him into the rescue.
Marv is very dog friendly and would enjoy a playmate, but does not need another dog in the home. He has seen some cats in a hospital setting and has not been reactive to them. Actually, he has met a few up close and personal and is a little scared. He has met plenty of people and is a complete love bug. He loves giving hugs and also knows some tricks like sit and paw. He does appear to be potty trained and has not had any accidents in his cage. He can be a little anxious when being put in a crate at first, so potential adopters should be patient and willing to work with him. His foster Momma is working on this with him. Marv deserves the best family and would love nothing more than to cuddle up with someone on their couch. His ideal family are couch potatoes that like to watch sappy hallmark movies and chill. But if that's not your thing, he would still go on adventure with you too. He walks great on a leash and loves car rides!
