Loki was surrendered to the Philly shelter when his previous owner decided—on the spot—that he “couldn’t handle it anymore” because Loki was being destructive in the home. You know… like literally every two-month-old puppy. No details, no interest in resources, just dropped him off and walked away.
Now that Loki is in a foster home, we can confidently say: the only thing destructive about him is how fast he’s stealing hearts.
This brown-eyed, wiggly pit bull mix is the definition of puppy perfection. He’s sweet, affectionate, and soaking up the world around him with that classic puppy curiosity. Loki is currently fostered with older children, dogs, cats, and even chickens—and he’s thriving with all of them. Like any baby dog, he’s working on his potty and crate training, but he’s eager to learn and loves positive reinforcement (and snacks—lots of snacks).
Loki will be fully vetted prior to adoption and is searching for a forever home that gets what having a puppy actually means: time, patience, and maybe a few missing socks.
If you’re ready for unconditional love, lifelong loyalty, and some very cute chaos, Loki’s your guy. Just maybe don’t expect your throw pillows to survive the first few weeks.
