Ginger

I'm Available

Two tiny souls entered our rescue under heartbreaking circumstances. Meet Ginger (female) and Ale (male) — just 8 weeks old and weighing barely 5 pounds each.

We received an urgent call from the shelter: two puppies had been dumped, covered in fleas, dangerously anemic, and in critical condition. Without hesitation, one of our amazing volunteers dropped everything, rushed to the shelter, and scooped them up to safety.

The shelter staff had already begun life-saving care — flea treatment, dewormers, subcutaneous fluids, and food — but it was clear these little ones had a long road ahead. Fleas had been literally sucking the life out of them, leaving them weak and fragile.

Thankfully, two foster homes opened their doors immediately, and now Ginger and Ale are finally resting, warm, and beginning to understand what it feels like to be safe. Already, their puppy spirits are shining through — sweet, silly, and eager for love. Both are settling in beautifully with children, dogs, and even cats. They’ll continue learning potty training, crate training, and the joy of being just… puppies.

It is devastating to know that Ginger and Ale came from a backyard breeder, discarded like trash when they became inconvenient. This is the reality of irresponsible breeding — innocent babies left to suffer because of greed and neglect. Until laws become stricter, rescues like ours will continue to see puppies arrive broken, sick, and fighting for their lives.

But today, Ginger and Ale are safe. They are loved. They are finally free from the torment of parasites and hunger. And with time, care, and community support, they will grow strong enough to find the forever families they so deeply deserve.
