Welcome Furby! He was brought to the local city shelter after his previous owners were told by the landlord dogs weren’t allowed. Furby has been adjusting in foster care and we have been learning more about him. He is fostered with children and adores them. He is also fostered with cats and other dogs. He does well with both in the home! He is a very vocal puppy so town homes and apartments are a no for Furby as you will likely get some noise complaints. He is working on crate training and potty training and doing VERY well. We are recommending Furby goes to a home with another dog. Preferably an adult dog that can teach him manners and how to be a good boy. Sometimes he is a little unsure and needs some guidance. He is fostered with all adult dogs and learning his way.
We think Furby is the absolute cutest but with all that cute fluffiness comes A LOT of grooming. So we want adopters to be aware that this will need to be done every 4-6 weeks with a groomer or if you are super ambitious you can brush this little floof ball every day.
Furby will be neutered, dewormed, microchipped, given all age appropriate vaccines, started on flea and tick and heartworm prevention prior to adoption.
