Della is a beautiful three-year-old hound mix who has been through so much but continues to show nothing but love. She’s the proud mama of our Halloween Hound Puppies—all of whom have found their forever homes—and now it’s finally Della’s turn to find hers.
Originally from South Carolina, Della gave birth while at the shelter and has since made her way north in search of a brighter future. She is incredibly sweet-natured and mild-mannered, with a gentle soul that wins hearts wherever she goes. Della is dog-friendly and enjoys the company of other pups. She has not yet been tested with cats.
We are still getting to know her as she settles into her foster home, so we’ll soon have more updates on her potty training and crate training progress. What we do know is that Della has a heart of gold and is ready to begin the next, happiest chapter of her life—with a family to call her own.
