Welcome Bud. He was originally found as a stary in 2022 and then adopted out. He was returned to the shelter 2 years later after his family could no longer keep him. He previously lived with children and other dogs. He was quickly adopted from the shelter and returned 12 hours later as the previous adopters stated he was aggressive with their 4 year old child. We do not have details but because of this we are recommending Bud go to a home with no children or children 16 years of age and older.
Bud is dog friendly, potty trained and crate trained. He is also morbidly obese which we will be working on to get him in great shape. His adopters need to be committed to getting him back to a healthy weight and exercise plan as this will help Bud lived long and be more comfortable on his joints.
Bud is microchipped, neutered, dewormed, up to date on all vaccines and started on flea and tick and heartworm prevention.
