Welcome Bronx! He was found as a stray in Philly and brought to the local city shelter. When he came to us it was clear something was not right with Bronx's front legs. They seemed bowed and affect the way he walks. After a few weeks of proper nutrition and a check with an orthopedic surgeon it was determined that he has Rickets disease which is cured with proper nutrition. We have been seeing great improvements with Bronx legs after getting him on a proper balanced diet and anticipate his legs to be 100% in no time.
Bronx is fostered with older children and dogs. He loves them all! he is working on his potty training and crate training while in foster care. He will need a home that will continue to help him with this training.
Bronx will be updated on all core vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, neutered, and started on flea and tick and heartworm prevention prior to adoption and can go to his forever home after 4/6/23.
