Meet Bracket!
Bracket is a 8-week-old Lab mix puppy with a story that could have ended very differently.
He and his siblings were found abandoned in a trash bag near an animal shelter in South Carolina. Thankfully, a kind-hearted Good Samaritan discovered them just in time and got them to safety before it was too late. Despite such a heartbreaking start to life, these resilient pups have never stopped wagging their tails or trusting the people around them.
Now safe in loving foster homes through Freedom First Rescue, they are getting the second chance they so desperately deserved.
Like any typical puppy, Bracket is playful, curious, energetic, and always ready for their next adventure. He loves toys, playing with other dogs, exploring his surroundings, and soaking up all the love and attention he can get.
He is currently working on potty training and crate training in his foster home. His adopters should be prepared to continue his training with patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement. Puppies are a lot of work, but the lifelong bond youll build makes every moment worthwhile.

Expected to do well with cats, provided introductions are slow and appropriate
As a Lab mix, he is expected to grow into an active, intelligent companion who will thrive with families committed to providing exercise, enrichment, training, and plenty of love.
Bracket has already overcome more in his first 8 weeks than any puppy ever should. Now, all he needs is a family to show him that the rest of his story will be filled with love, security, and happiness.
