After losing the only home she ever knew after her family was deported, Luna found herself sitting alone in a shelter kennel—confused, heartbroken, and waiting for a family that was never coming back. It’s a kind of heartbreak no dog should ever have to experience.

We stepped in and pulled Luna to safety. She is now settling into foster care, where she’s finally able to exhale, decompress, and start to remember what it feels like to be loved again.
Luna is a 6–8 year old Lab/Shepherd mix with the sweetest, most gentle soul. She is calm, affectionate, and incredibly people-oriented. Despite everything she’s been through, she still leans into touch and looks at you with hopeful eyes, as if she’s quietly asking for her second chance.
She doesn’t need chaos or constant activity—just a peaceful home, a soft place to rest, and someone who will love her for the rest of her days. Luna is the kind of dog who will follow you from room to room, content just being near her person.
She is fully vetted and ready for her forever family.
