Ellie is a beautiful 5-month-old German Shepherd and Hound mix who came from South Carolina after capturing our hearts during a visit down south. We couldn’t leave her behind, and she was given the chance at a bright future up north where she is now thriving and ready for her forever home.
Ellie is a loving, playful, and social puppy who absolutely adores children and does great with other dogs. She has not been formally tested with cats, but based on her gentle nature, she would likely do well with slow, proper introductions.
As a young puppy, Ellie is working hard on her potty training and basic training, and she has been doing wonderfully so far. She is smart, eager to learn, and very receptive to guidance, making her a great candidate for continued training as she grows.
Ellie is still very much a puppy, so she will do best in a home that is prepared for the time, patience, and commitment that comes with raising a young dog. In return, she will offer endless love, loyalty, and joyful companionship.
