Say hello to Cotton, the soft-hearted sweetheart who’s as resilient as she is adorable! This beautiful girl came to us after being surrendered to a vet clinic for a severe facial abscess. Her previous family chose not to continue care, so Cotton joined the Freedom First Rescue family to get the medical attention and love she deserves.
Cotton is now on the mend and healing beautifully under our care. Despite everything she’s been through, she remains gentle, affectionate, and full of love. She enjoys the company of other dogs and adores spending time with her people.
In foster care, Cotton will be working on her potty training and crate training — she’s a smart girl and eager to please, so we know she’ll catch on quickly! She’s friendly with children but would do best with kids over six, as she’s a bit unsure around toddlers and their sudden movements. She hasn’t met any cats just yet, but we believe with slow introductions, she could coexist just fine.
As for breed? Your guess is as good as ours! We suspect she’s a Hound-Pitbull mix, but since we never met her parents, we’ll just say she’s a 100% certified rescue special — equal parts charm, loyalty, and love.
