Meet Sheriff!
This petite little hound mix may be small in size—but he’s got a big heart full of love! Sheriff is around 7–8 months old and weighs only 25 lbs, the perfect “just-right” size for snuggles and adventures alike.
Originally found as a stray on a horse farm in South Carolina, Sheriff’s story started in the same place as his brother, Whistle, who already found his forever home. Now it’s Sheriff’s turn to find his happily-ever-after!
Sheriff is a sweet, gentle, and a little timid at first. He loves playing with other dogs and would benefit from a dog friend in the home to help him with his confidence. He’s currently working hard on his potty training and crate training in foster care and is picking things up quickly.
He’s fully vetted, up to date on vaccinations, and ready to join his forever family. Sheriff’s ideal home would be one that enjoys walks, has another dog in the home for playtime, a fenced in yard and a family that will give him plenty of affection—he’ll reward you with endless loyalty and tail wags!
