Harvey is a three-year-old sweetheart with a story that we just couldn’t forget. When we first met him at Saint Francis shelter, he reached his paw out through the bars of his kennel—almost as if he was begging us to hold it and whispering, “please, help me.” At the time, we didn’t have a foster spot available, but Harvey stayed on our minds every single day.
Fast-forward two months later, and fate gave us another chance. We couldn’t let him be forgotten, so we brought him north and promised him the life he truly deserves.
Harvey has been nothing short of wonderful. He is very dog-friendly—he even shared a kennel at the shelter with another dog and did great! He’s now learning about home life, working on his potty training and crate training, and already showing us how eager he is to please.
This gentle boy is ready to blossom in a loving home. After everything he’s been through, Harvey deserves a family who will reach back for his paw and never let go.
