Elwood’s journey hasn’t been the easiest, but this lucky boy has proven he’s a fighter. He came to us as an owner surrender after his previous family didn’t want to provide the medical care he desperately needed. When he arrived, poor Elwood was loaded with hookworms, battling an upper respiratory infection, and dehydrated – likely from the heavy worm burden.
Fast forward to today, and Elwood is thriving in foster care! With good nutrition, veterinary care, and plenty of love, this sweet pup is feeling better every day. He’s already picked up potty training and crate training and is eager to please.
Elwood is truly the total package – he’s dog-friendly, cat-friendly, and kid-friendly. He’ll be fully vetted prior to adoption, so his next chapter can start on the best possible paw.
