I'm ready for my new family!

Edna

I'm Available

Edna’s story starts in a forgotten corner of Philadelphia, where she was found in a house that a squatter appeared to be living in. No one came forward to claim her, and she quietly waited at the shelter—gentle, patient, and full of hope. That hope finally paid off when she made her way to our rescue. Now she’s ready to leave her past behind and find the forever family she’s always deserved.

This girl is the total package. She’s sweet as sugar, kind to her core, and loves every person she meets. At 70 pounds of love and wiggles, we recommend a home with older kiddos (she’s got the “happy hip-check” greeting down to a science), but don’t worry—she adores kids of all ages.

Edna is dog-friendly and absolutely thrives in the company of other pups—especially her best buddy Bowen. They’re currently fostered together, and honestly? They’re iconic. Bowen + Edna = couch cuddles, backyard zoomies, and double the joy. Just saying… adoption BOGO, anyone? Because two really is better than one.

She’s crate trained, potty trained, and fostered with cats—she’s respectful and calm around them too. Whether you want a hiking partner or a Netflix snuggler, Edna’s down for whatever. She’s adaptable, loyal, and brings a sense of calm joy to every room she enters.

Edna will be fully vetted prior to adoption and is ready to find her forever.

  •  A home with love.
  •  Maybe a doggy brother.
  • Possibly a couch (she called dibs on the left cushion).
  • Definitely a lifetime of loyalty.

If you’re looking for a dog who’s gentle, affectionate, and truly amazing—Edna’s your girl.
