Truffles is a one-year-old, 35-pound mixed breed who spent far too long waiting in an overcrowded South Carolina shelter—so long, in fact, that he ended up on the euthanasia list so we decided to bring him up north to give him a fair shot at a happily every after.
Truffles is the kind of dog who melts into your lap the second you meet him. He’s gentle, affectionate, and has a heart so pure it’s almost hard to believe. Despite everything he’s been through, Truffles still chooses love. He still trusts. And he still hopes for a family to call his own.
He’s potty trained, crate trained, fully vetted, and absolutely adores other dogs. He’d thrive in a home with a canine buddy, but what he really wants is someone to curl up next to at the end of the day. Truffles is the kind of dog who reminds you what resilience looks like—quiet, soft, and full of love. He has not been tested with cats but we think with slow intros he would od just fine.
He’s a very good dog. He just needs someone to finally see that.
